Editing HTML

In this tutorial we use a plain text editor (like Notepad) to edit HTML. We believe this is the best way to learn HTML.

However, professional web developers often prefer HTML editors like FrontPage or Dreamweaver, instead of writing plain text.

வரும் ஆகஸ்ட் மாதம் ரஜினியின் எந்திரன் பட இசை வெளியீட்டு விழா நடக்கும் என செய்தி வெளியாகியுள்ளது.

இதுகுறித்த ஆனந்த விகடன் வார இதழ் வெளியிட்டுள்ள சிறப்புக் கட்டுரை:'இந்த வருடம் ரிலீஸ் நிச்சயம்!' என்று ஷங்கர் தன் இணையதளத்தில் அறிவித்ததில் இருந்து... டிகிரி டிகிரியாக எகிறி வருகிறது 'எந்திரன்' ஃபீவர். ஒரு படம் சூப்பர் ஹிட் படமாக அமைய வேண்டுமெனில், அட்டகாசமான, பாடல்கள் அவசியமானது. அதிலும் பாடல்கள் கருத்தாழம் மிக்கவையாக இருக்கவேண்டும். எந்திரன் பாடல்களை பொறுத்தவரை அதன் மிகப் பெரிய பலம் – கவியரசு வைரமுத்து. தேன் தமிழில் வைரமுத்து புகுந்து விளையாடியிருப்பார் என்பதில் எந்த சந்தேகமும் இல்லை. இதோ அதை மெய்ப்பிப்பது போன்ற ஒரு செய்தி.

Yes, the Vikram's sister in 'Raavanan' and Ajith's love interest in 'Aasal' are set to share the screen space, but not in a Tamil movie. Priyamani and Bhavana will work together for a Kannada film, titled 'Vishnuvaradhan'.

The movie, apparently titled as a tribute to the late Kannada superstar 'Vishnuvaradhan', will also have Sudeep and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles, say sources in the know. "It has a different storyline with equal importance to all stars," they say.

"Priyamani, who is getting ready to leave for the United States, will join 'Vishnuvaradhan' team on her coming back to India by the end of July, while Bhavana will start working for the movie from August," sources add.

Interestingly, this is not the first time for either Bhavana or Priyamani, both from Mollywood, to act in a Sandalwood film. Priyamani has acted in films like 'Raam' and 'Eno Onthara' while Bhavana starred opposite Puneet Rajkumar in 'Jackie'.

The actress is impressed with the creativity shown by ad-film directors but was quick to say 'no' when asked if she would consider directing commercials at any point of time.

Saying that advertisements fascinated her, she says that acting in commercials is challenging as it meant having to convince the consumers about the quality of the particular product in 30 seconds or so.

Shifting the focus to Tamil films, her forte, Sneha says: "I want to don varied roles and don't want to be typecast. Importantly, I am looking for good characters." The actress is looking forward the release of films like 'Bhavani'. 'Vidiyal' and 'Vande Matharam'.

Hey folks... things are getting clearer on the next film of Ajith. There were enough truth and gossips were written on Ajith's film after the not so good 'Aasal'. So after Gautham Menon walked out of the project IndiaGlitz first reported that Venkat Prabhu and Ajith had a secret meeting to discuss a film together.

Now the truth is out. Ajith's next film is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri and directed by Venkat Prabhu. And the film is titled 'Mangatha'.

And the other truth is Anushka will sing and dance with Ajith replacing Samantha. Samantha was considered for the heroine role when Gautham was to do the film. 'Mangatha' is a big leap in the graph of Anushka as she is pairing with the third top hero this year. After 'Vettaikkaran' with Vijay and 'Singam' with Suriya, 'Mangatha' with Ajith is a dream offer for Anushka.

But it does cross our minds here Anushka's comment while speaking at the press meet of 'Singam' is Telugu dubbed version 'Yamudu' only a couple of days ago. 'Singam' has become the super hit of the season and one of its important star is irked. Prakash Raj who played the matching villain to the super hero Suriya is upset with Gnanavel Raja, the producer.

The reason for the tension is that producer Gnanavel Raja hasn't used Prakash Raj's voice for the Telugu version. 'Singam' has been dubbed as 'Yamudu' in Telugu and is releasing on July 2. The producer has used a dubbing artist to dub for Prakash Raj.

Prakash Raj is taking it seriously as he has a large fan following Andhra as well. He has gone to the extent of filing a complaint against Gnanavel Raja with Telugu Movie Artistes Association saying that the producer has failed to stand by the agreement signed between them.

Prakash Raj says the producer has given him an undertaking that if 'Singam' is dubbed in Telugu he would use only Prakash Raj's voice.

'Thillalangadi' is a Sun Pictures film. The company is set to premiere the music of the film on its television channel on July 2 after a simple intro at one of its television studios.

'Thillalangadi' is a remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Kick' starring Ravi Teja, Ileana and Shaam in lead roles. Shaam plays the same role in Tamil version also. Prabhu, Vadivelu, and Santhanam play other important roles.

Producer Henry is all ready to strike with his big star cast film 'Vande Matharam'. It is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Malayalam starring Mammootty, Arjun and Sneha together for the first time.

'Vande Matharam' analyses farmers struggle and related social violence to put forward an amicable solution to have lasting harmony. In the story Mammootty and Arjun play police officers and Sneha plays a woman pilot.

The film is directed by Aravinda Raj after a long time. Aravinda Raj turned Tamil film industry to technology with well made films like 'Oomai Vizhigal' and 'Senthoora Poove' in the eighties. Even the producer is known for quality social films like 'Marumalarchi', 'Bharathi Kannama' and 'Pudhumaipithan' before.

Bowing to the trend even the Malayalam film industry is gearing for multi-lingual films. Malayalam producer Jayaraj is on with a trilingual, to be simultaneously made in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. The movie is intriguingly titled 'Track With Rahman' and has super star Mammootty in the lead.

'Track With Rahman' as the name would suggest will give ample importance to music and as Mammootty is also there it will have plenty of actions also. Malayalam actor Jayasuriya who was seen in Tamil films like En Mana Vanil, Vasool Raja MBBS and Manathodu Mazhaikalam also has an important character in the film.

Sreenivasan handles the music while Ajayan Vincent will be in charge of cinematography. The film will be scripted and directed by veteran Jayaraj.

Vairamuthu, who has written three songs in 'Endhiran' has said each and every song in the movie will be a treat to music lovers as well as movie buffs.

"Shankar is one of the filmmakers who take immense care while shooting song sequences. Equally so is A R Rahman, who gives nothing but his best to each song he composes. Their combo will rock in 'Endhiran'," he said.

Elaborating on 'Endhiran' songs, he said, "I have penned three songs for the movie. One is a romantic number which describes a robot's love for a beautiful woman, while the second throws light on the way a robot is made."

On the third number, he said, "it is about a violent love. Revealing one of the lines, he said, "We have mixed human emotions with science in that number. One perfect example is- Vannathu poochi kaalgalaal rusi ariyum, indha kaadhal poochi kangalaal rusi ariyum."

Director-producer S A Chandrasekaran, whose production venture 'Veluthu Kattu' is hitting the screens today, has said his son Vijay will be careful in his future ventures. "He will not repeat the mistakes of the past," he said.

"Vijay himself has said in one of his films that 'life is a circle'. There has never been a flaw in his hard work and his future projects will speak volumes about it. He is very careful about his forthcoming films," the concerned father said.

Expressing hope on 'Kaavalkaran' and 'Velayudham', the next two films of Vijay, SAC said, "both have good storylines and talented directors are at the helm of affairs. I have huge confidence on both the movies."

On 'Veluthu Kattu', he said, "it is a collection of experiences I underwent when I was a youngster. Director Senapathi Magan, who was one of my former associates, has packed the film with enough punch."

Asin has earned the wrath of Kollywood for "ignoring the sentiments of the film industry and travelling to Sri Lanka" to take part in the shoot of her Bollywood film 'Ready', costarring Salman Khan.

The issue has been discussed at a committee meeting of the South Indian Film Artistes Association in Chennai recently. If sources are to be believed, many office bearers of the Nadigar Sangam have urged the management to blacklist the actress for her Sri Lankan visit.

"It is true that many members recommended disciplinary action against Asin for not respecting the sentiments of the industry. A decision will be taken and announced in a couple of days," SIFAA general secretary Radha Ravi said.

It may be recalled that a host of actors including super stars Amitabh Bachchan. Shah Rukh Khan and Kamal Haasan have refused to visit the island nation to take part in the IIFA extravaganza following a boycott call from the South Indian Film Industry.

Young director Sripathy is touching a milestone with his first film 'Kanimozhi'. With all support from producer T Siva of Amma Creations, the debutant is making live recording, which is not just exhaustive, but expensive too.

According to a source in the unit, only natural light has been used to shoot for the film. "We have recorded it using sync sound. Dubbing is only for heroine Shazahn's character. Everyone else has done live recording."

On the difficulties involved in live recording, the source says: "The rent for camera will be high in normal shootings. But for films using live recording, the rent for the high quality recorder is higher than that of camera."

"Also, a silent power generator has to be used for live recording whose rent too is expensive," the source says and adds: "However, producer Siva is not bothered about it and is ready to spend to get a quality end product".

The audio of 'Rettaisuzhi' produced by Shankar's S Pictures was released by Aishwarya Rai. This Thamira directed film is about two village elders and their hilarious adventures around the village. The film is an important film as it has legendary directors who created some of the best known actors who graced Tamil film screens ever, K. Balachander and Bharathraja playing lead roles in a movie for the first time together.

Music for the film is scored by the heavily underrated Karthik Raja. The eldest son of maestro Illayaraja was expected to go places after his superb score in 'Ullasam'. But he remained unsung even after giving great music in many films like Kadhala Kadhala, Naam Iruvar Nammaku Iruvar, Dum Dum Dum, Three Roses, Album and the recent Achchamundu Achchamundu.
